Terence Bay Townhomes
Terence Bay Townhomes is conceived as a response to the growing demand for housing in Terence Bay, Nova Scotia. The project consists of three stacked townhome buildings, each arranged with a one-bedroom unit at grade and a two-bedroom unit above. This configuration introduces six new homes into the community in a way that is both efficient and respectful, increasing housing choice while maintaining the rhythm of the surrounding neighbourhood.
The design approach centre on compatibility and restraint. Rather than dramatically altering the landscape with large multi-unit forms, the stacked townhome model provides incremental density that aligns with existing development patterns. By building upward instead of outward, the project makes responsible use of land and infrastructure while preserving the coastal character and sense of openness that define Terence Bay. The unit mix supports a range of residents, from individuals and couples to small families, helping to foster a diverse and balanced community.
Carefully planned floor layouts maximize functionality and natural light, while materials are selected for longevity and suitability to Nova Scotia’s climate. Emphasis is placed on detailing and construction efficiency to help manage costs without compromising quality. In this way, Terence Bay Townhomes contributes to addressing the broader housing challenges facing Nova Scotia by delivering attainable homes that fit naturally within their context, strengthening the community without overwhelming it.
